My Story
Anyone who knows Laura knows that she loves anything to do with beauty and making others feel beautiful. Since she was young child, she had a passion for cosmetics. She’d practice makeup on her cousins and even cut her own hair. It was something that she always loved and she knew she wanted a career in this field where she can make others feel confident and happy with the way they look. In 2017, Laura entered the Huntington Beauty School Culture and graduated 6 months later with her license in Esthetics. She started with doing lashes extensions and has now expanded to offering microblading, ombré brows, lip tattoos, waxing, and brow tint & lamination.

WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?Eyelash Extensions are synthetic man made lashes that come in many lengths, curls, and diameters that provide thickness and or length without damage if applied correctly.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VOLUME AND HYBRID?Volume lashes involves me taking multiple lighter lashes and hand crafting them into custom fans for individual lash during your appointment. Volume is great for a fuller fluffier look, or for someone who has weak or sparse natural lashes. Hybrid lashes are a mix between Volume and Classic lashes. (Classic lashes are a 1:1 ratio, which means one lash extension per lash.) These are great for someone who has a ton of natural lashes and still wants to keep a “ natural lash” look with a little something extra, or someone who wants to play with texture!

HOW DO THEY WORK?You come in with super squeaky clean lashes and get cozy on my warm lash table. Then I will use a nice cool eye pad and tiny strips of NexCare tape to hold your bottom lashes down, this keeps them out of my way while working my magic on the top lashes. You fall asleep while I strategically and carefully place lashes on each individual lash until each healthy mature lash has an extension. I then awake you from your relaxing slumber to your true lash goddess form.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?It depends on your makeup routine, skin type, how well you follow aftercare instructions and how often you’re coming in for fills, not to mention the length of your natural eyelash growth cycle. The natural cycle of a natural eyelash is 60-90 days. As your natural lashes shed, new lashes grow in place of those. In the warmer months we grow hair at a faster rate VS. the colder months when our bodies use that energy to store if needed. Fills are required every 2-3 weeks, NO exceptions. Technically Lash Extensions last forever if you keep up with them properly.

DO THEY DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?NOT AT ALL if applied by a lash professional who is doing their job correctly with lash integrity first in mind, also if you do your part with upkeep and aftercare. :) I KNOW, repetitive, starting to get the gist?

WILL LASH EXTENSIONS HURT?There is no pain involved during application or with daily wear. Naps are welcome.

ARE LASH EXTENSIONS RIGHT FOR ME?Here are some reasons you may not be a good candidate. If you have trouble laying still for long periods of time. You do not have time to schedule lash fills accordingly You are a HEAVY eye make up wearer You frequently rub your eyes or your eyes water more often than not. You have lubricating/ medicated eyedrops You are sick or feeling ill Your natural eyelashes are very curly You swim in the ocean or pool daily or weekly during warmer months.
